★ mononoke: phantom in the night

wowie. okay um. this movie blew me away. i remember i watched the original mononoke show back when i was a wee 12 year old and fixated on it for the next 6 months. got me reminiscing n shit. I Am In Love With Kusuriuri. i like that they didn't stray far from the original animation style of the show - which i think is one of its strong points (at least for me. i love weird stylistic choices and supernatural themes lol). the plot itself was pretty standard and in line with the formula of the show, but i also think they did and excellent job developing kame and asa's relationship.

★ the summer hikaru died

(i'm focusing only on the manga in this section since i've only seen 4 episodes of the anime as of writing this)

ough doomed yaoi.it does rub me the wrong way when people refer to this manga as a bl, as while i do think there are queer themes, the main story is horror/thriller. but what can you do i guess. anyway. i adore the eery claustrophobic atmosphere. sometimes i do miss the old artstyle though. yoshiki and 'hikaru's' relationship makes me crash out. there is so much to say about their dynamic!!!!!!

★ persona 3 reload

i first got into persona through binging a 100 hour p5r silent playthrough and became obsessed with goro akechi :whumpus_hanging_gif:. after i think maybe 6 months i decided to get into p3/4 as well, although i havent actually played any of them. too tedious to pirate them lol. i cant believe i was missing out on peak by being a p5 only fan good lord.
